Loire Valley

Popularly known as the “Garden of France”, the Loire valley was popular with French royals who got their “secondary” castles (Chambord was a “simple” hunting lodge for François 1st) built in this part of France. Centuries later, this area feels like a huge open-door museum better seen from the seat of a bike. Chambord is a few pedal strokes from Blois, and Chenonceau is not much further… Within 4 days, you can see the Loire Valley’s most prominent castles and within a week, you can see them all!

The signed bike route “La Loire à vélo” makes it easier… and our luggage transfer service which comes as part of our self-guided tours makes it even more stress-free…. You’ll feel like royals in the “Garden of France.”
