Lake Geneva Region

With its numerous international organizations (UN, World Health Organizations, etc…) the city of Geneva is uniquely international… but still very Swiss in many ways: everything runs on Swiss time (meaning very precisely on time!), and efficiency is not a vain word, it is a principle.

The above applies to its small airport, an ideal gateway when traveling to Switzerland or the French Alps. Centrally located in Europe and serviced by a number of low-cost airlines, Geneva can be accessed from most points in Europe within a short flight… and since there’s no wasted time, this makes Geneva an ideal ground for short cycling jaunts, ideal for cyclists pressed for time!

From Geneva, one can access the French Alps, the Jura mountains or simply ride around its Lake which houses a number remarkable sites. Although surrounded by mountains, this area is ideal for novice riders who can make the most of the Swiss bike routes or the new Via Rhona which links Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean Sea following the rhone river: Lake Geneva Region Tours.
